Join Gomeroi artist Debbie Wood for a soulful, hands-on weaving workshop, where you’ll learn the ancient art of traditional raffia weaving and create your own unique woven piece.
Held at yellowhouseart on Saturday, 15th March 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, this intimate and grounding experience will introduce you to traditional techniques, natural fibres, and the deep cultural significance of weaving in First Nations heritage. Debbie will guide you through the process of working with raffia, teaching you how to create beautiful woven forms infused with meaning and connection to Country.
