Workshop Description:
Get creative with colour and express yourself through beautiful handmade cards at Watercolour Wishes: Card Making with Jacqueline de Tessier. This inspiring and relaxed workshop takes place on Saturday 30th August from 10am to 12.30pm and is perfect for anyone wanting to dip their brush into the world of watercolour — no experience needed!
Under the gentle guidance of local artist Jacqueline de Tessier, you’ll learn a handful of basic watercolour techniques to bring soft washes, delicate details, and playful splashes to life on paper. Then, you’ll turn your artworks into a set of handcrafted cards — perfect for birthdays, thank yous, or just-because notes — all created by you and ready to gift (or keep!).
Jacqueline’s warm and welcoming style makes this a wonderful introduction to watercolour, and there’s plenty of room to explore your creativity while enjoying the calming process of painting. Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or have dabbled before, you’ll walk away with new skills, newfound confidence, and a bundle of beautiful cards.
All materials are included, along with morning tea and refreshments to keep you fuelled and inspired throughout the session. Enjoy tea, treats, and good company in the creative surrounds of the gallery studio — it’s a morning that’s equal parts relaxing and rewarding.
Cost: $95 per person, including all supplies, expert tuition, and refreshments.
Spots are limited, so gather a friend or come along solo and discover the joy of handmade watercolour cards in a friendly, no-pressure environment.
