Welcome to our awesome all new Gallery website!
So, for this first blog post, I just wanted to pop in and say a big hi and share a bit about how this whole gallery thing got started. But then I remembered I spilled all the beans during that cool podcast chat with Oak Magazine’s Kimberley Furness last year (click below to have a listen!). I gave it a listen today and wow, it’s wild to think how far we’ve come since we opened shop on May 27, 2021, with just three artists. Now, we’re repping almost forty amazing local artists, all of them kickass women from right here in the Riverina!
Gosh we’ve been busy bees – from running loads of after-school art classes and tons of fun kids’ workshops during school holidays to throwing epic parties for all sorts of occasions, including birthdays and corporate events. And let’s not forget about all the artwork we’ve showcased and sold, plus the cool homewares and handmade jewellery we’ve added to the mix. We’ve even pumped nearly $150,000.00 into our artists’ pockets! Oh, and we’ve taken the show on the road too, hosting paint parties at different spots and teaching painting classes to groups and individuals.
It’s been an amazing three years, and we couldn’t have done it without the love and support of our awesome local community, especially you lovely folks in Wagga and all you art enthusiasts out there who dig what we’re doing. With our spiffy new website up and running, I’m going to make an effort to drop more blog posts, so if you’ve got any burning questions or just wanna chat, hit me up.
