Create an Amazing 3D Ocean World
Dive beneath the waves and discover a world of creativity in this exciting mixed media art workshop for kids.
Children will build their own three-dimensional underwater diorama inside a display box, creating colourful ocean scenes filled with fish, coral reefs, sea turtles, treasure chests, mermaids, jellyfish and other underwater treasures. Using paint, collage materials, glitter, ribbons, shells, wooden cut-outs and mixed media supplies, they'll bring their ocean world to life layer by layer.
This workshop combines painting, construction, storytelling and imagination, making it one of our most exciting school holiday activities.
What We'll Create
Children will:
- Build a 3D underwater diorama
- Paint and decorate ocean elements
- Create depth and dimension using layering techniques
- Design sea creatures and underwater treasures
- Construct a display-ready ocean scene
