Our Teachers Get to Know Every Child
Because our classes run throughout the school term, our teachers build genuine relationships with every student.

Our teaching team is made up of practising professional artists who bring years of experience into every lesson.
Our teachers include:
- Maggie Deall – Owner of Yellowhouseart and exhibiting artist whose passion is helping children discover confidence through creativity.
- Lindy Farley – An accomplished abstract artist who encourages experimentation, colour and creative freedom.
- Georgia Thompson – Known for her beautiful animal artworks and calm, encouraging teaching style.
- Sherrie Clemson – An award-winning realist oil painter who helps students develop strong observation skills and confidence in drawing and painting.
Every teacher brings their own unique style, meaning children are constantly learning new techniques and ways of seeing the world.
Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
One of the things that makes our after school art classes unique is that children have the opportunity to share their creativity with the wider community.
Throughout the year many of our students create artworks to enter local exhibitions and competitions, including the Wagga Wagga Show and the Coolamon Up2Date Art Exhibition.
For many children, seeing their artwork displayed publicly is a huge confidence boost and something they remember for years to come.
We also finish the year with our much-loved Christmas Student Exhibition, where family and friends are invited to celebrate everything our young artists have created throughout the year.
Watching children proudly show their work to parents and grandparents is one of our favourite moments every year.

Our after school art classes are designed for primary and high school students who love to create, whether they're complete beginners or already passionate about art.
Class Times
- Monday: Kindergarten – Year 3 | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Monday: Years 4–6 | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Tuesday: High School | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Wednesday: Kindergarten – Year 3 | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Wednesday: Years 4–6 | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
- Thursday: Primary School | 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Cost
Classes are $40 per session, with all art materials and equipment included. There are no extra supply lists or hidden costs—just bring your imagination!
Professional Artists as Teachers
Every class is taught by practising professional artists who love sharing their knowledge and encouraging young creatives. Our teachers bring a wealth of artistic experience while creating a fun, welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels comfortable to explore and learn.
Safety First
The wellbeing of our students is always our highest priority. Every member of our teaching team holds a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), and our staff are trained in First Aid, giving parents peace of mind while their children are with us.
A Welcoming Space for Everyone
We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. Our classes welcome children of all abilities, and we proudly support participants who are NDIS self-managed or plan-managed. We also have a dedicated Quiet Zone available for children who may benefit from a calm space during class.
All Materials Included
From paints, brushes and canvases to collage materials, clay, specialty papers and mixed media supplies, everything is provided. Children simply arrive ready to create, experiment and have fun.
