Learn something new without taking it too seriously

Our adult workshops are friendly, guided sessions where you can explore a particular activity, material or technique.

Everything is explained step by step, materials are included and complete beginners are always welcome.

Come along, have a go and leave with something you made yourself.

Creativity without the pressure

You are not expected to arrive knowing how to draw, paint, work with clay or choose the perfect colours. That is why you are coming to a workshop.

A yellowhouseart artist will demonstrate the activity and guide you through each stage. Follow the example closely or change the colours, details and design to make it your own.

The aim is to enjoy learning something new—not to create a room full of identical pieces.

Workshop Activities

Our workshops may include painting, jewellery making, ceramic and glass painting, collage, mixed media, clay, sculpture, scrapbooking, paper craft, decoupage, weaving, fibre art and seasonal projects.

Each workshop focuses on a particular activity or technique, with plenty of room to choose your own colours, add personal details and create something that feels like you.

Who They're For

Our workshops welcome complete beginners, experienced makers, adults returning to creativity and anyone who simply wants to try something new.

Come with friends or attend on your own. Many people do, and our studio is relaxed, friendly and welcoming.

Adults using self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding are welcome at suitable workshops. Please contact us before booking to discuss accessibility, individual support needs and whether a support worker will attend.

A workshop also makes a lovely gift. Book a place for someone special or choose a yellowhouseart gift card and let them select their own creative experience.
