No pressure. No experience. Just a lovely night of painting.

Spend a few hours painting, experimenting and enjoying a little time that is just for you.

There is no set project and no expectation that everyone will create the same thing. Bring an idea, a photograph or something you are already working on, then create at your own pace with friendly guidance whenever you need it.

Monday evenings 6:00pm–9:00pm $40 per person No booking required

Social Painting is our relaxed weekly studio session for adults who would like to make more time for creativity.

Everyone works on something different. You might paint from a photograph, continue an existing artwork, try a new technique or arrive with no real plan and see where the evening takes you.

I am there to help with drawing, composition, colour mixing, materials and those moments when you look at your painting and think, “I have absolutely no idea what to do next.”

Ask for as much or as little guidance as you need. You remain in control of what you create and how quickly you work.

Friendly guidance whenever you need it

A welcoming creative community

What can I create?

Work on painting, drawing, collage, mixed media or an ongoing project.

Social Painting is deliberately flexible, so there is no fixed activity list. Bring your own idea or use the evening to experiment with a new subject, material or technique.

Complete beginners, experienced artists and everyone in between are welcome. Some people work quietly, while others spend as much time talking and laughing as they do painting. Both are perfectly okay.

Adults using self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding are welcome at suitable sessions. Support workers may attend when required. Please contact us before the first visit so we can discuss individual interests, accessibility and support needs.
